This web application is developed by me for a group project at Carnegie Mellon University. I am a research assistant and web developer. My other responsibilities can be found in my CV.
The web application development is built individually under the guidance of my Ph.D. mentor.  It uses APIs to provide a AI-based online counseling training experience where the user experience conversation with a chatbot to practice their counseling capability.
Features: Saving chat history; Providing feedback for ongoing conversations; Removing previous messages to try a new response.
Relevent skills: Interface design, Javascript, HTML, SvelteKit(web development framework), Website hosting
Impact: The work is used by experts for evaluating purpose.

Counselor trainee could enter text and communicate with the chatbot as if the conversation with a patient is real. They could also click on "Advice on what to say to see suggestions".

After entering response, the trainee (user) could click on Blue "Get Feedback" button to receive feedback that is also AI-generated.

See the right of the image for the feedback. The feedback messages are provided on 5 categories, each essential to constitute a successful counseling.
